In this role, the Technical Sales Support Engineer & Technical Trainer will be the technical backbone of the front sales and answer all kinds of technical pre-sales inquiries from customers, the Sales team and Managing Director. Furthermore, he or she will act as presales and product trainer for customers and employees in Poland. The position will be incorporated into our subsidiary dtw Sp.z o.o, based in Krakow. They will work closely with our International Sales representatives and our international Training centre, reporting to the Managing Director of our sales and service subsidiary SMA Central and Eastern Europe. Key responsibilities: Providing technical, high-level support for SMA Solar Technology products Development of technical concepts and support of customers in the areas of medium power, high power and communication products Providing technical support to the local SMA Sales department Development of tools for a variety of sales activities Design and development of training programs for PV inverter and associated communications technology Preparation and maintenance of training materials Carry out training courses for customers and employees in our SMA training center as well as with customers on-site Travel mainly domestically Qualifications & Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a proven electro-technical background as well as experience with energy management at least two years of professional experience in a similar pre-sales or training position a sound understanding of the local energy supply and market and experience with solar technology Has extensive working knowledge of MS Office Ability to interact skilfully with clients and to quickly grasp new ideas and methods Excellent presentation and communication skills combined with very good written and verbal English and Polish language skills Experience in training and excellent teaching skills Strong sales and customer focus as well as a hands-on mentality Very good self-management skills and a team player Is willing to travel both domestically and internationally Training: At least 2 weeks at our headquarters in Niestetal, Germany Reporting line: Reports to the Managing Director of SMA Central & Eastern Europe Job type: Full-time Temporary contract (2 years) with the possibility of extension ...
